SOC Lab_Eligibility​

The SOC Lab at Washington University of Science and Technology (WUST) is open to a variety of users who are committed to enhancing their skills in cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Access to the lab is granted to the following groups:

  • Students: Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in cybersecurity, information technology, or related programs are eligible to use the lab for hands-on learning, projects, and assignments. Students must complete an orientation session to ensure proper and ethical use of lab resources.

  • Faculty: Faculty members involved in teaching, mentoring, or conducting research in cybersecurity, information technology, and related fields are encouraged to use the lab for instructional purposes and academic research projects.

 

  • Staff: WUST staff members working in cybersecurity, IT, or network administration may use the lab for professional development, training, and skill-building to help maintain and improve institutional security measures.

  • Research Collaborators: Approved external researchers and industry partners who collaborate with WUST on cybersecurity-related research and development projects may gain access to the lab’s resources, subject to institutional guidelines and agreements.

  • Special Program Participants: Individuals enrolled in certified training programs, workshops, or cybersecurity boot camps organized by WUST are eligible to use the lab facilities during the course of their program.​

To ensure security and the integrity of the lab environment, all users must adhere to the lab's policies and undergo proper training before accessing the SOC Lab.
